Description of the Project
The project involved a digital overhaul of the Kreativní Česko platform for the Ministry of Culture. This encompassed the Celostátní Galerie Kreativců - a publicly accessible, free online database for creative professionals across the Czech Republic. The platform serves as a crucial tool for the Kreativní Vouchery program, facilitating financial support and collaboration between SMEs and creative service providers.
Kreativní Česko itself stands as a hub for culturally creative entities and artists, functioning independently from public funding sources. It encompasses a broad spectrum of profitable creative sectors, from audiovisuals to traditional crafts, and aims to bolster the creative economy through state strategies and substantial financial backing.
Kreativní Česko is a platform supporting culturally creative entities and artists. It encompasses a wide array of economic activities within the broader cultural and creative sector. Unlike other cultural areas, these activities are not dependent on public funding and are more than 50% financially self-sufficient. The sectors included under Kreativní Česko are diverse, ranging from audiovisuals, music, books, and print, to advertising, architecture, design, fashion, traditional and artistic crafts, as well as certain areas of performing arts, visual arts, and cultural heritage.
The platform represents a significant part of the modern creative economy, highlighting the potential for profit generation within these sectors. Kreativní Česko brings together officials, politicians, managers, and experts to discuss creating spaces for creativity, such as creative hubs and centers. It plays a pivotal role in leveraging the potential of cultural and creative industries, backed by ambitious strategies and significant funding from the National Recovery Plan. This revolutionary opportunity presents both challenges and the necessity for collaboration to harness the creative sector's full potential.
